The IEEE in the UK and Ireland
The IEEE UK and Ireland Section has a vibrant student community of over 2,000 members (and over 8,000 members overall). Numerous student branches located at different universities provide a local point of contact for the student members at the respective universities. The UK and Ireland Section website has a dedicated area for students whit all relevant information for our area.
A Student Branch (SB) is a student society at a university that gives students the opportunity to meet and learn from fellow students, as well as faculty members and professionals in the field. King’s College has its own SB, which was founded in 2001.
