Annual IEEE Student Branch Event – Wednesday Nov. 4th 2015

We are delighted to open the IEEE Student Branch activities here at King’s College London for this academic year with an interesting Talk & Networking Event next week.

Our selection of speakers represent a variety of disciplines.

  • Prof. Kaspar Althoefer, head of the Centre for Robotics Research (CoRe) at King’s
  • Prof. Mischa Dohler, head of the Centre for Telecommunications Research (CTR) at King’s

Who will present their views on the latest exciting developments in their respective fields. These are followed by a talk from Prof. Tony Davies, Emeritus Professor of Electronics Engineering at King’s and past director of IEEE Region 8. Furthermore the King’s Robotics Society will introduce themselves and showcase their work.

The talks will be followed by a networking session in the same room to give you a chance to have an informal chat with the speakers as well as the senior IEEE student branch committee members. We are looking to recruit at the moment, so this will be a nice chance to have a chat if you’re interested in getting involved with the IEEE. Food & drinks will be provided by us!
